We did not build the engine. We recognised what it could do, productised it and took it to market. That is the Emp42 story in one line, and it is the service.
An AI transformation consultancy
Emp42 started in Budapest in 2025 with one job: help SME and mid-market leaders turn high-value AI use cases into workflows that run every day. Discovery, prioritisation, the build, the handover. Practical by design, with early validation and no claims a regulator would object to.
We saw an engine that worked
In that work we came across an assessment engine built inside a certification body, on live audit work, with a method already validated across 600+ engagements. It held the control book, collected evidence per requirement, ran the interviews and drafted every rating with its reasoning, while the auditor kept the judgement. It solved a problem we kept meeting: too many audits, not enough auditors.
We made it a product
Emp42 set up the productised version: Audit41 Core for the firms that assess others and Audit41 Readiness for the organizations being assessed. Whitelabelling, the firm-specific frameworks, the report templates, the contractual and regulatory position, the pricing, the go-to-market. We run it as the exclusive commercial and implementation partner.
